This symbolic representation of a tree is found in all of the ancient cultures. the fruits, the roots, the leaves etc ...holds a profound knowledge
tied to the understanding of the soul. There are modern patterns next to ancient symbols just to awaken the eyes.

Broken pieces of ceramics and the colour of this 'lapis lazuli' a stone for which many wars were fought like Jerusalem.
It's a melting of all sorts of perfume, smells, textures, that gives a vision of my Jerusalem.

The archaeological site of Beit Guvrin was a crucial place for my work , the base was totally abstract.
Only the rhythms of my brushes sweeping and dancing on the canvas area, leaving things to pour out by themselves.
The work on light and symbols comes on next to give more magic and mystery and give a breath of life.

Indi textile, Chinese ceramics, Moroccan embroidery, were my inspirations.
My biblical version of an ancient royal shawl , King David's shawl or Yossef's coat wherever your heart takes you.
The jade color of the Chinese ceramics , and the gold and copper light bring the "nobility" touch ..
A spill of deep fuchsia and Burgundy reminds us of the violence surrounding all these games of powers .
The pinks are our unconscious human struggles for peace .
They are spread on the canvas .
They look like Hebrew cursive letters that shouts out SHALOM.
