THE KING'S SHAWL

Indi textile, Chinese ceramics, Moroccan embroidery, were my inspirations.
My biblical version of an ancient royal shawl , King David's shawl or Yossef's coat wherever your heart takes you.
The jade color of the Chinese ceramics , and the gold and copper light bring the "nobility" touch ..
A spill of deep fuchsia and Burgundy reminds us of the violence surrounding all these games of powers .
The pinks are our unconscious human struggles for peace .
They are spread on the canvas .
They look like Hebrew cursive letters that shouts out SHALOM.
